Oh, Come On Now Cantor!

Eric Cantor rarely speaks his mind. Instead, he espouses the party line. So when asked to give an off-the-cuff, non scripted comment on the proposed Muslim Community Center near Ground Zero, the best Cantor could say was, “Oh, Come On Now.” So we thought a running commentary titled “Oh Come On Now” on our website might be interesting. This will be observations of the real Eric Cantor. His voting record is the real indication of who Cantor is really representing. His votes in Congress show that Cantor represents big business, big money and the oil industry, and not his constituents in the 7th Congressional District.

Blue Moon Bash debuts June 4

 

The Hanover Democratic Committee will debut its Blue Moon Bash fundraiser on Friday, June 4. Join featured speaker Del. Jennifer McClellan as well as Dave Mills, Director of the Democratic Party of Virginia, and Mr. Rick Waugh, the Democratic nominee for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 7th Congressional District. Rick faces 10-year incumbent Eric Cantor (R) and independent Floyd Bayne. The Blue Moon Bash will be held at the historic Hanover Tavern from 6 to 8 p.m. Enjoy hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar in the company of fellow Democrats and help the HDC get ready to support Rick Waugh for Congress.
