Mary Miller of Ashland Christian Emergency Services will be the speaker at our August 2024 meeting of the Hanover Democratic Committee. The meeting will begin at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11 at Around the Table, 155 Junction Drive, Ashland, in the Rose’s Shopping Center. Mary will talk about the work of ACES and other similar organizations in the area, the needs for vulnerable people and for organizations like ACES that serve them in Hanover, and how our members and meeting attendees can help.
ACES is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization open on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 507B Caroline Street. Please join us for this meeting to hear how we can give a hand to those in need. We will also be discussing the campaigns for president, U.S. Senate, and the U.S. House of Representatives as there has been a lot of change since we last met. Come out and help us prepare for the fall sprint to elect Democrats to these offices.
