Turnout will determine the outcome of this election and polls show the races to be close. TAN readers have worked so hard on these campaigns, but there is one remaining task … vote yourself and make sure all your like-minded friends have voted.

Virginia Democrats will phone bank on Wednesday, Nov. 5  through Friday, Nov. 7 to walk voters through curing their ballots. There are thousands of Virginians who could have their mail-in ballot rejected because of mistakes like a missing signature. 

Calling our congressmen every day during the government shutdown down is getting old, but it is much worse for our neighbors who are either furloughed, essential still-working federal employees or federal contractors who are all not getting paid.
