The Hanover Democratic Committee is once again offering scholarships to graduating seniors in Hanover. The HDC will present scholarships in honor of Bobby Ostergren, Melissa J. Dopp and Carolyn Waugaman to up to three Hanover County High School seniors who intend to continue on to higher education or technical education.
The scholarships will be awarded to students who have assisted the Hanover Democratic Committee, participated in Democratic campaigns or furthered Democratic goals, supported Democratic candidates, or participated in or started a Young Democrats club in their school. Three $500 to $1,000 scholarships will be awarded in June 2025.
