At its monthly meeting on Dec. 9, the Hanover Democratic Committee elected new leadership for 2024-2025 in accordance with the state party plan, which requires biennial reorganization of local committees.
Rachel Levy will chair our committee during this important election cycle. Rachel has carried the torch for us as a candidate for the House of Delegates in the last two elections, winning friends and votes throughout our county. Rachel is a mother, a teacher, and a proven community leader familiar to us all for her commitment to Democratic values and principles. Her strong leadership on federal, state, and local issues that affect us all will help our committee and our party prosper and thrive.
Daniel McGraw is not going away by any means. The past chair will serve as vice chair of fundraising during this important time. Daniel is to be commended on his leadership of the HDC, as well.
As part of the reorganization meeting, the HDC realigned some of the roles and duties in its leadership positions. Here is the full list of HDC leaders.
