Because it falls on Mother’s Day, there is no monthly Hanover Democratic Committee meeting for May. Our Blue Moon Bash on May 10 will serve as our meeting. Our next meeting will be at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 9 at Around the Table, 155 Junction Drive, Ashland. In honor of Pride Month, we’ll hear from Equality Virginia Executive Director Narissa Rahaman. Narissa currently serves as an Associate Regional Campaign Director for the Human Rights Campaign and is a veteran in long-term strategic planning and legislative advocacy, among other things. We also will hear from Harry Khanna, a candidate for one of the five seats Virginia gets on the Democratic National Committee Steering Committee.
