We are coming up very quickly on our big fundraiser, the Blue Moon Bash. We have a distinguished list of three speakers who will join us from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. on Friday, May 10 at Hanover Tavern, 13181 Courthouse Road, Hanover.
The theme of the event will be Women of the Commonwealth Protecting Our Democracy. Joining us will be Shannon Taylor, Commonwealth’s Attorney in Henrico; State Sen. Ghazala Hashmi of Henrico; and Anne Holton, former first lady of Virginia and former state secretary of education.
They will bring their perspectives to our Blue Moon Bash at a critical time when women’s rights, gender identity and public education are under assault.
